EU Says Future Trading Relationship with UK will be a FTA

European Council President Donald Tusk says the future trading relationship between the EU and the UK will have to be in the form of a free trade agreement.

While speaking in Luxembourg, Mr. Tusk says he hopes the tariffs will be zero and all goods and services will be covered.

It's a blow to UK Prime Minister Theresa May, who proposed keeping single market access to parts of the economy.

While Mr. Tusk says he does not want to put up a wall with the UK, he says Brexit means it's inevitable trade between the EU and the UK will change.
