IMF Downgrades UK Growth



Britain's economic growth forecast has been downgraded by the International Monetary Fund.


The IMF cited uncertainty over Brexit as well as rising inflation as some of the factors behind the adjustment.

Senate pass Republican tax plan [CLIPS]

Republican lawmakers in the United States have moved one step closer
to passing the most comprehensive overhaul of the country's tax system
in 30 years.


The Senate has narrowly voted in favor of the $1.5 trillion tax plan
in a vote of 51-48 that was split down party lines.

Delhi government tests anti-smog gun

It is one of the most polluted cities in the world and now the Delhi government is planning to use a giant water gun to tackle smog in the city after a successful test run. 

China uses similar water cannons to shoot down polluted air.

Haley sends strong message to UN ahead of Jerusalem vote

The U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations says her country will be
taking names of nations that go against Washington's decision to
recognize Jerusalem as the Israeli capital.

On Thursday the 193 United Nations General Assembly members are set to
hold an emergency session and vote on the issue.

US calls for crackdown on ships delivering to North Korea

US officials have asked for the United Nations to blacklist ships that allegedly have been violating sanctions on North Korea.

It's believed that ten ships have been making off-shore deliveries of oil and coal.

Mexico Cruise tragedy - 11 dead

At least 11 tourists from a Royal Caribbean cruise ship have died in a coach crash in Mexico.
The bus flipped over at Costa Maya, a stretch of Caribbean coast on Mexico's eastern Yucatan Peninsula, in the south of the country.

MEXICO TOUR BUS CRASH

At least 11 people have died and 20 more have been injured after a bus
full of tourists crashed in Mexico.

It overturned on a freeway on its way to the archaeological site of Chaccoben.

Many of the passengers are thought to have been in the country as part
of a cruise trip.

The White House says the invitation from the United Kingdom for a visit has been accepted.

The visit has been under question as some in Parliament think Donald Trump should be arrested for incitement, while the arrangements have also been under debate.

Saudi claims intercept of Iran-Houthi ballistic missile aimed at Riyadh

US may compel North Korea to de-nuclearization

U.S. National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster says all options remain on the table when it comes to North Korea, including compelling the regime to give up its nuclear weapons ambitions.
