Wikileaks is claiming a "state party" has cut off the internet connection of the site's founder Julian Assange...

Assange has lived inside the Ecuadorian Embassy in London since 2012.

Trump claims widespread voter fraud

Donald Trump is claiming on social media, there is widespread voter fraud and the American election is rigged.

US election experts have pointed out repeatedly, this is virtually impossible.

UN warn of mass exodus from Mosul

The United Nations warns that an offensive on the Iraqi city of Mosul
may force around 100,000 people to flee to neighbouring Syria and
Turkey.

The self-proclaimed Islamic State took control of Mosul in June 2014
and now government forces along with Kurdish troops have launched a
major offensive to win it back.

RT'S UK BANK ACCOUNTS 'FROZEN'

State-run broadcaster Russia Today has had all its UK accounts closed by Natwest Bank.

London says the decision is a matter for the bank, but it comes after the UK and US said fresh sanctions were being considered against Moscow over its military campaign in Syria.

Russia to send aircraft carrier through English Channel

Russia is to send a warship up the English Channel on Monday - in what's being seen a show of military strength at a time of very strained relations between Moscow and Britain.
The ship is on its way to join Russia's military action in Syria.

The UK's finance ministry is denying reports Chancellor Philip Hammond is trying to slow down the Brexit process amid a cabinet split.

UK newspapers report cabinet colleagues report Mr Hammond is trying to 'undermine' Brexit by urging caution on plans to curb migration as Britain leaves the EU.

But government sources say while there are tensions in cabinet, there has been no major row, and Mr Hammond is not trying to obstruct Brexit.

Iraq announces start of offensive to retake Mosul

Iraq's Prime Minister has announced the start of an offensive to take back the city of Mosul, the capital of the Islamic State group's territory in Iraq.

Speaking on state TV, Haider al Abadi  said a moment of victory was near.

The assault on Mosul is backed by the US-led coalition and could be one of the biggest military operations in Iraq since the 2003 American invasion.

No compromise for Aleppo as Dabiq captured

All options remain on the table as the US Russia and others were unable to find a compromise to stop the fighting in Aleppo.

Over the weekend talks were held in Lausanne Switzerland
then U-S Secretary of State John Kerry flew to London for additional meetings on Syria.
