US job data far exceeds expectations

The US economy added 287,000 new jobs last month, boosting confidence for Wall St and investors.

The new figures suggested the US economy is on a surer footing than last month's dismal data suggested.

The city's police chief said he said he was motivated by recent high profile shootings of black men in other cities.

Dallas Police say Suspect Wanted to Kill White Officers

A suspect involved in the overnight shooting to death of five police officers in Dallas said that he wanted to kill white people, especially white officers.

The police disclosed that the man was upset over recent police shootings of black men. 

He was later killed by an explosive detonated by police.

Assailants targeted police from rooftops in a sniper ambush, targeting officers who were overseeing a protest march on Thursday night.

UK to deploy hundreds of troops to Poland and Estonia

The UK is to send hundreds of troops to Poland and Estonia in a bid to deter Russia from further aggression...

A German court has found two men guilty of sexual assault, the first convictions stemming from a series of New Year's Eve attacks in the city of Cologne.
