Recovery work continues at Bavarian train crash site

German authorities continue to work at the site of a train crash that killed at least 10 people in Bavaria. 

There has been no indication yet as to what caused the accident.

Russian opposition leader attacked in Moscow

A prominent Russian opposition figure was attacked in downtown Moscow by what appeared to be Chechen nationals. He was hit with a cake and received life threats. Moscow police is investigating the case following the politician's complaints. Daria Bondarchuk reports from Moscow.

Trump & Sanders win New Hampshire Primary

Hampshire Primary, the second vote in the race for the White House.

Both men won by sizable margins - a result that was expected, but
helps to silence doubters that felt neither candidate had enough
support.

Supreme Court Deals Setback to Obama's Power Plant Regulations

The United States Supreme Court has temporarily blocked the Obama adminstrations’s effort to combat climate change by regulating emissions from coal-fired power plants. 

More than half the states and dozens of corporations and industry groups are challenging the Obama administration plan.

New Hampshire Goes To The Polls

Republicans and Democrats in the US are continuing the process of choosing the candidate they want to run for the White House in November.

This Tuesday, it's the turn of the northeastern state of New Hampshire, which is holding a so-called primary vote to determine its choice.

The state's rules allow the 44 per cent of its voters who are independent to participate in either party's primary, meaning the race can be unpredictable.

Chris Galdieri, an assistant professor of politics at St. Anselm's College and the New Hampshire Institute of Politics, explains the process:

Mexico: Gas blast frees captive migrants

Migrants who were being held captive by a criminal gang in the northern Mexican city of Reynosa managed to escape after a gas explosion ripped through the house where they were being kept. 

Five of the men held hostage were from Guatemala. Three of them were hospitalized after the blast.
