Drone Registry Open for Business

The U.S. government registration system for Americans who own drones is open for business. 
The Federal Aviation Administration made it a priority to get the registry online before Christmas, when hundreds of thousands of people are expected to receive drones as gifts.

Las Vegas police ID crash driver

Police in America have identified the 24 year-old woman they say deliberately ploughed her car into pedestrians on the Las Vegas strip, killing one person and hurting dozens more.


Lakeisha Holloway was homeless and living in her car at the time of the incident.

US Aims To Protect Lions Through Endangered Species Act

The White House has decided to place lions in Africa under the protection of the US Endangered Species Act.

The move will set a higher bar for hunters who want to bring lion trophies back to America, and comes five months after a Zimbabwean lion named Cecil was controversially shot by a man from Minnesota.

Oil prices hit 11 year low

On Monday the price of Brent crude oil fell to its lowest level since
2004 due to a continuing global supply and demand imbalance.

The drop in price is good news for consumers but is having a major
impact on major energy companies and oil rich nations alike.

Eurotunnel services return to normal

Eurostunnel services are resuming normal service after a fault on the track.


The issue caused queues of traffic on the UK side of the tunnel on Sunday night, leading to long delays.


Passengers were asked to postpone their journeys overnight while repairs were carried out, as our UK Correspondent Natalie Powell reports.

One dead and dozens injured in "intentional" Las Vegas crash

At least 36 people have been injured and one person has died after a car ran into crowds outside a Las Vegas hotel...

Police believe the crash was intentional but have ruled out terrorism.

The female driver ran from the scene but has since been arrested.
