GITMO Detainee Held Wrongfully for 13 Years

The U-S has been holding a Yemeni man prisoner at Guantanamo Bay for 13 years by mistake. U-S officials say the inmate at GITMO appears to have been a victim of mistaken identity.

Yahoo ‘May Spin Off Stake in Alibaba’, Weighs Sale of Core Internet Business

The board of Yahoo is reported to be discussing the possible sale of the company's internet business, according to Reuters and the Wall Street Journal.


Yahoo's also expected to consider spinning off its stake in the Chinese e-commerce company Alibaba.

Argentina's Ex President found guilty of embezzlement

A court in Buenos Aires has sentenced Argentina's former President Carlos Saul Menem to four and half years in jail for embezzlement.

According to the court, Mr. Menem oversaw the embezzlement of public funds that were used to pay government officials back in the 1990's

EU threatens Greece with exit from border free zone over migration crisis

NATO invites Montenegro to become member despite Russian objections - [updated]

Montenegro will begin the process of joining NATO after foreign ministers from the alliance extended a formal invitation at a meeting in Brussels. 

The accession of Montenegro unifies almost the entire northern Mediterranean coastline under the NATO alliance. 

The move is already prompting strong responses from Russia which has condemned NATO expansion and says it will be forced to take retaliatory measures.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said the Montenegro's invitation to join NATO is part of NATO's commitment to the region.

Negotiations well underway at Paris Climate Summit

Climate change negotiators in Paris are getting down to business on the third day of a 12 day summit.

Zuckerbergs Announce Baby's Birth and Pledge Facebook Fortune
