MET POLICE 'FAILING' IN KEY AREAS: REPORT

The police inspectorate has found Britain's biggest force is not adequately investigating crime or managing risks posed by sex offenders.

His Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary assessed the Metropolitan Police's performance across eight areas.

WHO declares Mpox an international emergency

The World Health Organisation has declared the outbreak of Mpox in
Africa a global emergency.
Independent experts appointed by the WHO now say they are concerned
the viral disease could spread to the rest of the world.
The Democratic Republic of the Congo accounts for the highest number
of the reported cases with outbreaks also appearing in neighbouring
Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya.

US Inflation drops below 3% for first time in 3 years

Annual inflation in the US dipped below 3 percent in July for the first time in three years according to Labour Department Statistics.


That's the lowest level it's been since March 2021, midway through the coronavirus pandemic.

Iranian President Tells UK PM Iran Has The Right To Take Punitive Response Against Israel
