New poll shows Trump ahead of Biden in five swing states

A US election poll shows Donald Trump leading Joe Biden in five out of six battleground states.


The New York Times/Siena poll revealed voters have concerns about a number of issues, including Biden's advanced age as well as his handling of the economy.

Elon Musk debuts new AI chatbot 'Grok'

Elon Musk's company xAI has announced a new chatbot that will use real-time data from the platform X, which he also owns.

Biden paying respects to victims of mass shooting in Maine


U.S. President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden are visiting the state of Maine following the most deadly gun massacre in the nation this year.
Eighteen people were murdered and others were injured on October 25, when an army reservist with known mental health problems, attacked people apparently randomly in a bowling alley and bar.
Biden is paying respect to the victims, and grieving family and community members.
On Air Force One on the way over, White House Spokesperson Karine Jean Pierre said the President supports further action by Congress, now.

Blinken in Israel to discuss "humaitarian pause"

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is back in Israel for the second
time in just a few weeks, where he is pushing for a "humanitarian
pause" to allow more aid into Gaza.

Blinken has met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to reaffirm
US support for the country, but also to discuss doing more to protect
Palestinian civilians in Gaza.

Blinken says "concrete steps" must be taken to ensure those caught in
the crossfire are protected.

Nearly 100 British Nationals Listed To Leave Gaza Via Rafah


Nearly 100 British nationals are listed as approved to leave Gaza through the Rafah border crossing with Egypt, on Friday.


The border crossing had been closed until Wednesday when some foreign nationals and seriously injured Palestinians were allowed to leave.


The UK Foreign Office says it has deployed teams to Egypt to aid British nationals that manage to leave Gaza.

Boko Haram KillsAtleast 37 in Nigeria

Terror group Boko Haram has killed no fewer than 37 people in Nigeria's northeast state of Yobe this week.

Schools shut in Delhi as air pollution turns 'severe'

Blinken: US aiming for "durable, sustainable peace" in Gaza

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken says he's working on finding a
"durable, sustainable peace" for Israelis and Palestinians.

He made the comments just before boarding a plane to Israel, where
he'll meet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday.

He also said he plans to talk to Israel about "concrete steps" to
minimize danger to civilians.

It comes after US President Joe Biden said a "pause" in fighting would
help to get civilians and hostages out of Gaza.
