White House: Biden has made no decision on banning Russian oil imports

The White House says President Biden has made no decision on whether to ban imports of Russian oil into the United States.


The President is coming under pressure from Republicans and some Democrats to ban energy supplies from Russia.


White House press secretary Jen Psaki was asked today how the President can justify his decision to carve Russian oil out of the sanctions he's imposed on the Kremlin.

She also said today that while US intelligence believes a Russian military convoy heading to Kyiv has been stalled by Ukrainian forces, the US has no plans to launch an attack of its own against it.

Jan 6 committee allege Trump broke the law & first defendant stands trial over attack

Former US president Donald Trump broke the law in trying to overturn the 2020 election, according to the democratic-led House select committee investigating the January 6th assault on the US Capitol.

No progress after latest Macron-Putin call

DRC HUMANITARIAN CRISIS

More than 100 international humanitarian organisations operating in the Democratic Republic of Congo have launched a 1.8 billion dollar appeal to help people displaced by conflict get their basic needs.

Australia – Stolen Generation survivors to receive payout

NYT: Chinese Officials Told Russian Officials Not to Invade Ukraine Before End of Winter Games
