STARMER BRACED FOR LEADERSHIP CHALLENGE FROM STREETING

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer is bracing for a leadership challenge with allies of Health Secretary Wes Streeting suggesting he could resign on Thursday.

It follows disappointing election results for the governing Labour Party, and a series of controversies.

Chief Secretary to the Treasury, James Murray, says his message to colleagues is not to trigger a leadership race.
