Japan to allow up to 20,000 daily foreign arrivals

Japan is set to double its allowance of foreign arrivals to 20,000 people per day in June.

Japan had closed its borders to foreigners in 2020 during the height of the pandemic.

Now businesses depending on foreign travelers are finally seeing a ray of hope.
