UK Nuclear Power Regulation Needs ‘Radical Reset’, Review Warns

The UK's nuclear power regulation needs a "Radical Reset" according to a government commissioned review. 

The taskforce issued its warning on Monday saying the UK has become "the most expensive place in the world" to build Nuclear power plants due to overly complex regulation. 

John Fingleton, the panel's chair, says change is needed to meet rising energy demands.

Peshawar city in Pakistan remains on high alert following a suicide attack

Rubio very optimistic at Ukraine talks


US Secretary of State Marco Rubio says he's very optimistic after making tremendous progress in talks with Ukraine over a US proposal to end the war with Russia.


The Trump administration has imposed a deadline of Thursday for Kyiv to accept the 28-point plan, which contains many concessions that Ukraine has long rejected.

BRITISH POLITICIAN SENTENCED OVER RUSSIA BRIBES

European leaders agree on full support for Ukraine after call with Zelenskyy

US adds unexpected 119,000 new jobs in September
