Indian Navy seizes more than 3,000kg of drugs off Gujarat coast

Indian officials say that the country has carried out its biggest ever drugs bust.

The Indian navy seized more than 3,000 kilograms of drugs including cannabis off the coast of the country.

Two men convicted of killing Run-DMC’s Jam Master Jay

The godson of Run-DMC star Jason Mizell has been convicted of his murder in New York City, more than 20 years after the rap star's death.


Mizell, known as Jam Master Jay, was fatally shot in 2002 in his music studio.


He's credited with helping hip-hop break into the pop music mainstream in the 1980s - with hits including 'It's Tricky' and 'Walk This Way.'

US spacecraft moon mission ends early

The first US spacecraft to land on the moon in more than 50 years is about to lose power. 


Odysseus is just hours away from running out of battery due to a botched landing, cutting short its lunar mission by as many as five days. 


The probe's Texas-based company, Intuitive Machines, saw its shares collapse on Tuesday after announcing the news.

US leaders optimistic of govt funding deal

Biden mocks Taylor Swift conspiracy theory

US President Joe Biden has refused to confirm whether he will be endorsed by Taylor Swift.


The President made the comments during a rare media appearance with comic Seth Meyers, in a bid to reach new voters ahead of this year's presidential elections.

Half a million in Gaza face starvation: UN

According to the United Nations at least half a million people in Gaza
are facing famine with the entire Palestinian enclave suffering from
acute food shortages.

UN officials say calls for more food aid have either been denied or
have been ignored.

The UN Security Council will discuss the issue of food security during
a meeting later on Tuesday.

Trial date set for Alec Baldwin's manslaughter trial

Actor Alec Baldwin will go on trial in July after being charged in the
fatal shooting of a cinematographer during a rehearsal on a movie set
in New Mexico.
Prosecutors dismissed the charges against Baldwin in April 2023 but
then again indicted Baldwin in January this year after prosecutors
received new analysis of the gun.
The actor could face up to 18 months in prison if convicted in this
first of its kind trial.

Runaway train in India travels for over 70 kms without a driver

A probe has been launched in India after an unattended speeding freight train shot past several stations before it was brought to a halt.

S.Korea Nurses Given Legal Protection to Perform Procedures Amid Hospital Crisis

Nurses in South Korea are being given legal protection to perform some medical procedures to try and ease a crisis caused by a walkout of trainee doctors.


More than two-thirds of the country's resident and intern doctors have left their posts to protest the government's plans to increase quotas of trainees to cope with a shortage of doctors.
