Over 7,000 Burundian refugees in Tanzania to return home

Tanzanian authorities say at least 7,000 Burundian refugees sheltered in the country's western region of Kigoma have registered to go back home under a voluntary repatriation arrangement.

Ethiopia charges 2000 for June protest

Police officer shot dead in London

A police officer has been killed in south London by a man who was being detained at a custody centre. 


The incident occured on Friday morning at Croydon Police Station. The officer later died in hospital of gunshot wounds.
