Brexit Talks End Without Achieving "Sufficient Progress"

The fourth round of Brexit talks have wrapped in Brussels with both sides saying progress has been made.

But EU negotiators say still not enough progress has been made for the two sides to begin talks on a new trade relationship.

'PROGRESS' BUT NOT 'SUFFICIENT PROGRESS' IN BREXIT TALKS

The UK says there have been 'decisive steps forward' in Brexit negotiations in Brussels.

However, the EU insists 'sufficient progress' has still not been made on a number of key issues - meaning trade talks will not begin after a crucial European Council meeting in October.

Differences still remain over the Irish border, citizens' rights and a so-called 'divorce bill'.

Wrapping up the latest round of talks, the UK's Brexit Secretary David Davis insisted Theresa May's speech in Florence last week has helped.

Barcelona mayor calls for EU intervention in independence referendum row

Video Footage of Brawl: Reportedly England Cricketer

Video footage has emerged reportedly showing England cricketer Ben Stokes in a fight outside a nightclub in the city of Bristol.


The unverified footage published by The Sun newspaper comes after the vice-captain was arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm.

CAA threatens Ryanair with legal action over misleading passengers

Budget airline Ryanair has been threatened with legal action after being accused of not complying with the law and disregarding passengers.

Landslide Claims Lives In Uganda

The fourth round of negotiations on the UK's departure from the European Union are wrapping up in Brussels.

There isn't expected to have been much progress on the three major issues in the talks with many questioning whether the brexit date of April 2019 will be realistic.

British police say children should be taught in schools how to respond if they're caught up in a terrorist attack.

RYANAIR FACES LEGAL ACTION

Budget airline Ryanair faces possible legal action after cancelling thousands of flights.

The UK's Civil Aviation Authority says some of the hundreds of thousands of passengers affected have been 'persistently misled' about their rights.
