House Republicans confident US government won't shut down

House Republicans believe they've figured out a way to keep the U.S. government running while they come up with legislation for continuing spending rules.

The U.S. government "runs out of money" - or at least the rules on how tax payer dollars are spent - ends soon (Friday midnight East Coast Time)

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan thinks they can pass a short term measure to work out the problems in a longer term continuing resolution.

Pres. Trump reiterates threat to terminate NAFTA

U.S. President Donald Trump says he's open to renegotiate the North American Free Trade deal with Canada and Mexico after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and President Enrique Pena-Nieto.

He's also threatened to terminate the massive trade deal if a fair deal for American workers cannot be negotiated.

UN reports slight decrease in civilian casualties in Afghanistan

U.S. Immigrant crime hotline trolled
