More than 10 killed in Ukraine clashes

More than 10 people have been killed in Ukraine during fresh clashes
between government forces and Russian-backed separatists.

Close to 10,000 people have died in the conflict and this escalation
in violence comes just weeks after a ceasefire was renewed.

Trump accuses top Democrat of crying "fake tears" over immigration restrictions

President Trump is accusing a top Democrat in the US Senate of crying "fake tears" over the immigration restrictions introduced last week.


Charles Schumer, the Democrats' leader in the US Senate, teared up during a news conference on Sunday.


But during a meeting with small business owners at the White House, the President claimed the Senator's behavior was "fake".

White House: new immigration rules are "enormously successful"; protests are "small".

The White House says President Trump's immigration restrictions have been "enormously successful", even as protests against the move grow in the US and overseas.

Trump returns to Twitter to defend immigration order

U.S. President Trump is downplaying the number of people detained under his immigration executive order, which suspends entry for migrants from seven Muslim-dominated countries.

Returning to Twitter on Monday, the U.S. president insisted that only 109 people were blocked by the restrictions, saying 325,000 people had been cleared by customs.

President Trump also stated there was 'nothing nice' about searching for 'terrorists'- referring to nationwide protests over the move.

Two have been arrested following a shooting at a Quebec City mosque which left six dead and 8 injured.

The mosque was the target of a hate crime last year.

Turkish and Greek warships face off in Aegean

Turkish and Greek warships faced off on Sunday  - with relations between the two countries already at their lowest point in decades over Greece's refusl to extradite eight Turkish soldiers.

Suspected Paris and Brussels attacker Mohammed Abrini charged in France

Suspected terrorist Mohammed Abrini has been charged for his alleged role in the Paris attacks in which 130 people were killed claimed by the Islamic State.

The Belgian born 30 year old has been transferred from Belgium to France.

Donald Trump's administration is refusing to back down over restrictions on immigration from seven countries - denying it is a Muslim ban.

Three Ukrainians killed in weekend clashes

Ukrainian officials have announced that three soldiers died Sunday in
an attack by Russian-backed separatists in the east of the country.
