US President Donald Trump says an agreement with Iran has been
largely negotiated, after spending Saturday at the White House in calls
with leaders from across the Middle East and with Israeli Prime Minister
Benjamin Netanyahu.
The announcement, posted on the president's Truth Social account,
comes as Washington reviews Iran's latest proposal to end the war —
though President Trump has told the website Axios the chances of a final
deal stand at fifty-fifty.
