The daughter of this year's Nobel Peace Prize winner has accepted the award on her behalf.
Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado hasn't been seen publicly since January over fears she'll be arrested by the Maduro regime.
She was given the prestigious prize for her efforts to restore democracy in Venezuela.
Machado had planned to be at the ceremony in Norway herself, but is now expected to arrive later on Wednesday. She's been told she will be declared a fugitive if she leaves Venezuela.
Speaking on behalf of her mother at the event in Oslo, her daughter Ana said it's important to raise awareness and vowed that Venezuela 'will breathe again'.
