European foreign ministers meet to discuss Ukraine peace plan

The European Commission president says "there cannot be unilateral carving up of a sovereign European nation", and that "Russia's mindset has not changed since Yalta".

Ursula von der Leyen was addressing European lawmakers on Wednesday as negotiations continue to to try to end the war.

Body of hostage returned to Israel, two now remain in Gaza

Mother sentenced to life in prison for New Zealand's 'suitcase murders'

INTRO: A mother who murdered her two children and stuffed them into suitcases stashed inside a storage locker was on Wednesday sentenced to life imprisonment in New Zealand.

Afghanistan blames Pakistan for the overnight strikes
