Peshawar city in Pakistan remains on high alert following a suicide attack

In the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar, officials say terrorists have attacked paramilitary headquarters, killing three soldiers and injuring two.

US and Ukraine agree that future peace deal must "fully uphold Ukraine’s sovereignty"

Rubio very optimistic at Ukraine talks


US Secretary of State Marco Rubio says he's very optimistic after making tremendous progress in talks with Ukraine over a US proposal to end the war with Russia.


The Trump administration has imposed a deadline of Thursday for Kyiv to accept the 28-point plan, which contains many concessions that Ukraine has long rejected.

BRITISH POLITICIAN SENTENCED OVER RUSSIA BRIBES

A British politician has been sentenced to 10-and-a-half years in prison for accepting bribes to advance Russian interests while a Member of the European Parliament.

A London court found Nathan Gill received tens of thousands of dollars to make pro-Russian speeches and advance Moscow's interests in other ways.
