JAMAICA BRACES FOR HURRICANE MELISSA

The world's strongest storm so far this year is heading towards Jamaica.

The Caribbean island could see winds of 175 miles per hour, and over 100 centimetres of rain.

Melissa is a category five hurricane, and the storm has already caused several deaths in Jamaica, Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

India's US oil purchases climb to their highest since 2022
