Air pollution levels continue to worsen in eastern Pakistan

46 Die in Uganda Road Crash

Ugandan Police have confirmed at least 46 people are dead and several others are injured after a major road crash in the north of the country.

Moscow accuses media of undermining new Trump-Putin summit

Plans for a Trump-Putin summit in Hungary appear to be on hold after Russia rejected Washington's proposal for Ukraine ceasefire. One of Vladimir Putin's top foreign affairs envoys said Wednesday preparations for the US-Russia summit were ongoing, accusing media of attempts to disrupt it. Reuters reports WHO pulls up India over the recent deaths due to toxic cough syrup

Reuters reports that the World Health Organisation has pulled up India over the recent deaths of at least 24 children caused by a toxic cough syrup, saying it has more work to do in halting its sales.
 
The children died after consuming the Coldrif cough syrup made by an Indian pharmaceutical brand - Sresan Pharma - which tests showed contained the toxin diethylene glycol in quantities nearly 500 times the permissible limit.

UK SENDS TROOPS TO ISRAEL

North Korea fires multiple ballistic missiles, first launch in months

San Francisco officials threaten to sue if Trump sends National Guard
