7.4 magnitude earthquake hits the Philippines

A 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck the southeastern coast of the Philippines on Friday.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has ordered evacuations in coastal areas, as authorities assess the potential damage.

So far there are no immediate reports of casualties.
