Hungary refuses to give up Russian oil

Hungary says it will keep buying Russian oil despite a request from U.S. President Donald Trump to halt the imports. Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó says the decision is based on Hungary's energy needs. Pablo Gutierrez reports from Budapest

RADIO: DRC-RWANDA PEACE DEAL

Former French president Nicolas Sarkozy found guilty of criminal conspiracy

A French court convicted former president Nicolas Sarkozy of criminal conspiracy for accepting illegal campaign funds from late Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi.

The former French leader was acquitted of other charges, including concealment of embezzled funds.

4 killed, scores injured as statehood protest turn deadly in India's Ladakh

Texas immigration facility shooting leaves two victims dead

Three people have died - including the attacker- after a shooting by a suspected sniper at an immigration facility in  Texas. 

 

The gunman is dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after the incident.

India's Kolkata still to recover from deadly rainfall

At least 10 people have died in heavy rains in the Indian city of Kolkata this week, according to local media reports.

Super Typhoon Ragasa lashes Hong Kong, death toll climbs in Taiwan

Some local affiliates set to block Jimmy Kimmel's return

France calls for transitional administration in Gaza, following recognition of Palestine
