US President Donald Trump says he will try to 'get some territory back' for Ukraine in talks with Russia.

President Trump is set to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on Friday to discuss the Ukraine conflict.

Ukraine says there must be an unconditional ceasefire as a prerequisite to substantive peace negotiations - and its allies say peace must not be imposed on Kyiv.

Typhoon Podul Set to Strengthen Before Hitting Southern Taiwan

Trump: Russia & Ukraine have to cede land to get peace
