US, China Negotiators Meet in Stockholm to Extend Trade Truce

INTRO: US and Chinese officials are meeting on Monday to extend their tariff detente beyond a mid-August deadline, and to try to tackle long standing economic disputes at the centre of a trade war between the world's two biggest economies.

Analysts say the discussions in the Swedish capital, Stockholm, are unlikely to produce any breakthroughs, but could help create conditions for Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping to meet later this year, as Laura Westbrook reports.
