United States and China agree to 90-day pause on tariffs as trade war eases
US and China strike 90-day agreement to slash tariffs
The US and China have reached agreement to lower tariffs temporarily after concluding that they "neither side" favored the trade war underway between the two countries.
For the next 90 days, US tariffs on Chinese exports will fall to 30%, while Chinese tariffs on American goods will drop to 10%…with both sides agreeing to work on a long-term agreement.
