LIBERALS PROJECTED TO WIN CANADA ELECTION

Mark Carney's Liberal Party is projected to win Canada's election.

The election has been held with the backdrop of trade disputes with Washington, and President Trump insisting Canada should become the 51st state of the US.

Journalist Brad Gibson says the departure of Justin Trudeau as leader and Prime Minister was the first turning point for the Liberals.
