TRUMP THREATENS TO DOUBLE-DOWN ON CANADIAN TARIFFS

US President Donald Trump has doubled down on his trade war with Canada, promising to impose further tariffs on its steel and aluminum imports.

Mr. Trump had already planned to impose a 25 percent tariff on those products coming into the US from America's trading partners starting Wednesday.

Government shutdown looms as House prepares to vote on short term funding
