Uganda Ebola Cases Rise to 9

Uganda has reported six new cases of Ebola, raising the total confirmed infections to nine, including one death, according to the Ministry of Health.

Seven patients are currently being treated at Mulago National Referral Hospital in Kampala, and one is at Mbale Regional Referral Hospital in the east.

​Texas measles outbreak spreads among unvaccinated children

A measles outbreak in Texas is spreading. Health officials say at least 10 children in one county have tested positive in the past two weeks for the highly contagious disease - which can cause fevers, rashes, brain swelling and even death.
