US National Security Advisor defends shutting USAID
Trump's decision to shutter the US Agency for International
Development.
The Trump administration announced a funding freeze for the agency but
has so far been blocked by a judge from putting thousands of its
employees on unpaid administrative leave.
Waltz told NBC that USAID spends money that does not strategically support
America's interests.
