One of Donald Trump's initial picks for a senior cabinet position has violated not only multiple Congressional rules, but several state and federal laws, according to an ethics report published today.
Matt Gaetz, the firebrand ex-politician, is alleged to have paid a dozen or so women $10,000s "with the general expectation of sex" in return — amongst them an underage student, who was just 17 at the time.
The report also says the former Florida congressman used illegal drugs while in office.
Benji Hyer brings us more details.

US President Joe Biden has commuted the sentences of dozens of people sitting on death row, meaning they will now not face the death penalty.
These prisoners will instead serve life without the possibility of parole.
Three notorious killers were left out of these commutations — the gunman at the 2018 shooting at Pittsburgh's Tree of Life synagogue, the perpetrator of the 2015 church massacre in Charleston, and the 2013 Boston Marathon bomber.
