French government stands on the brink of collapse

French MPs will vote whether to keep the prime minister in place on Wednesday in a no-confidence motion.

Opposition lawmakers called for the vote after Michel Barnier used executive powers to force the budget legislation through parliament.

SOUTH KOREA'S PRESIDENT FACING IMPEACHMENT CALLS

There are growing calls for South Korea's president to be impeached after he declared martial law.

Yoon Suk Yeol lifted the order - which was voted down by MPs - less than two hours after he made it.

Delhi government approved 100USD aid for ban affected construction workers

US expresses concern over South Korea

The United States says it has "every hope and expectation that any political dispute" in South Korea "will be resolved peacefully and in accordance with the rule of law."


President Yoon Suk Yeol has declared emergency martial law in the Republic of Korea in a bid to rule by military authority, a move he claims is necessary to protect the country from North Korea's "communist forces."


But lawmakers there have since voted to block the President's power, after protests outside Parliament overnight.

Jaguar has unveiled its new luxury electric concept car.


With an elongated front end, no rear window and striking low profile, the Type 00 (zero zero) has elicited strong opinions since it was launched at Miami Art Week.
