SENIOR DEFENCE OFFICIALS MEET IN PRAGUE TO DISCUSS EUROPE'S MILITARY CAPABILITIES

Senior defence officials are meeting in Prague for a summit to discuss the building up Europe's defence capacities. 

The gathering hosted by International Institute for Strategic Studies, comes at a time where Europe's defence capabilities continue to be in the spotlight in the wake of Russia's  ongoing attacks on Ukraine.

Israel's FM travels to Netherlands after "anti-semitic" attacks on football fans in Amsterdam


Israel's foreign minister is travelling to the Netherlands for talks after Israeli soccer fans were caught up in violent clashes in Amsterdam.

The Dutch Prime Minister has described them as "anti-semitic" attacks, with 62 people arrested by local police.

China approves $840B plan to refinance local government debt, boost slowing economy

INTRO:  China's top legislative body, the standing committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), approved a bill on raising ceilings on local government debt.

China will let local governments issue an additional $837 billion in bonds to swap for off-balance sheet or "hidden" debt over three years, an official said on Friday.

India's financial watchdog raids sellers using Amazon and Flipkart

India's financial watchdog - the Enforcement Directorate - has conducted searches in multiple locations across five Indian cities - targeting offices of those sellers operating on Amazon and Walmart-owned Flipkart.

The companies have come under fire for allegedly not providing a level playing field to local vendors, in what is only the latest setback for the e-commerce platforms.

India criticizes Canada's ban on Foreign Minister's interview in Australia Today

Taiwan coast guard to harness 'people power' to report Chinese activity

Israeli air strikes hit southern Beirut, at least 40 dead in eastern Lebanon
