Tight race in US Presidential election, as results come in

Polls have closed across swathes of the United States, with the race for the White House too close to call between US Vice-President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump.


Trump, the Republican Party's nominee, is so far leading on the electoral map, but there's a long way to go, with most battleground states still undeclared.

Pennsylvania results not expected on election night

Pennsylvania has been a major focus for both the Trump and Harris campaigns, as polling shows the two candidates in a dead heat to claim the state's nineteen electoral college votes.

However, as was the case four years ago, if the race is as close as predicted, a winner isn't expected to be declared on election night.

WHO: more than 100 patients to be evacuated out of Gaza


The World Health Organization says more than 100 people requiring urgent medical treatment will be evacuated out of Gaza on Wednesday.

Nigeria Frees Minors Charged with Treason Over Protests

Pakistan battles the crisis of smog

North Korea fires multiple ballistic missiles toward the sea ahead of US election
