Musk $1m Pennsylvania lottery raises legal concerns

Elon Musk has promised to give away $1 million a day to voters in Pennsylvania.

The tech billionaire - and supporter of Donald Trump - is targeting
the crucial swing state ahead of the US presidential election on
November 5th.

To be eligible to win, voters must sign a pro-constitution petition
created by Musk's campaign group America PAC.

However, the lottery has raised questions, with scholars saying the
scheme is illegal.

Democratic Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro also said he was against
the lottery during an appearance on NBC.

Trump works McDonald's drive-through, Harris marks birthday

Former US President Trump has served food at a McDonald's
drive-through in Pennsylvania as part of campaigning on Sunday.

He used it as a chance to question his rival Kamala Harris' claim that
she worked at McDonald's while she was in college.

Trump surprised drivers by handing out fries and said his Sunday stint
meant he had now worked at the restaurant for longer than Harris.

One Direction says 'devastated' by Liam Payne death

Tributes continue to pour in for former One Direction singer Liam Payne, who died in Argentina this week.


The 31-year-old was found dead in Buenos Aires on Wednesday. 


His death is under investigation, with officials saying he may not have been fully conscious at the time of his fall.


In a joint statement, Payne's old bandmates said they are 'devastated by the news'.

Italy's PM visits Lebanon amid attacks on UN forces

Fight to limit abortion pill access back in play after new lawsuit filed

A new battle is brewing in the fight over access to abortion pills.  Idaho, Kansas and Missouri have filed a request seeking to restrict access to the drug, after the Supreme Court tossed out a similar case earlier this year.  It comes just ahead of the presidential election, where reproductive rights is a top issue for voters.
