Carmaker Hyundai Motor India's IPO is due to open next week – and it's set to be India's largest stock market offering.

This will be the South Korean company's first listing outside of its home market.

MILTON BEARS DOWN ON FLORIDA'S WEST

Hurricane Milton is bearing down on Florida's west coast with more than a million people ordered to evacuate.

Forecasters say it has the potential to be one of the most destructive storms ever recorded in the region.

It's been packing winds of up to 165 miles an hour and is expected to make landfall around the Tampa Bay area on Wednesday night local time.

Professor Jennifer Collins is a hurricane expert at the University of South Florida - she says Tampa Bay is particularly vulnerable.

Brazil's Supreme Court lifts ban on X after Musk backs down

Guterres warns that a new law blocking UNRWA ‘would be a catastrophe’

The United Nations Secretary General has written to Israeli Prime
Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressing his "profound concern" about
draft legislation that could prevent UNRWA from continuing its work in
the Occupied Palestinian Territory.
On Sunday Israel's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee approved two
bills aimed at ending the activity and privileges in Israel of the
humanitarian agency, UNRWA.
Speaking in New York on Tuesday, Guterres says this move will
suffocate efforts to ease the suffering and tensions in Gaza.

Antonio Guterres calls for immediate ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon

United Nations humanitarians in Lebanon have described how challenging
it has become to reach some 1.2 million people who have fled heavy
Israeli bombardment and evacuation orders.
Speaking in New York on Tuesday, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres
said the conflict in the Middle East is getting worse by the hour and
his warnings about the horrific impacts of escalation are being
ignored.

'Ghost Guns' arguments begin in Supreme Court

Biden, Harris + Trump mark Oct 7 anniversary
