Amazon to require employees to return to office five days a week

Amazon has told employees they have to return to the office five days a week starting in January of next year.


Currently, the online retail giant's corporate employees are allowed to work from home two days a week after the shift to remote work during the pandemic.

Titan hearing underway in US

A hearing is underway looking into why the Titan submersible imploded in the North Atlantic Ocean, killing the five passengers on board.


The US Coast Guard is expected to spend two weeks trying to understand failures that led up to the incident in June last year.

Suspect in Florida court Monday after second attempted assassination of Trump

A suspect has been charged with federal gun possession charges in the U.S. on Monday, after a near assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump.

Nearly 300 Prisoners Escape Nigerian Prison After Floods

Authorities in Nigeria are on the hunt for over 200 inmates who escaped following devastating floods in Maiduguri, Northeast Nigeria.


The flood caused by an overflow of a dam as well as heavy rainfalls broke the walls of the prison where the inmates were serving time, allowing 281 of them to escape.
