Mass Early Release Of Prisoners In The UK To Ease Overcrowding In Jails
Nearly 2 thousand prisoners will be freed in the UK today, as part of a scheme to cut overcrowding in jails.

The early releases have been criticised by some support groups, who claim that many victims haven't been made aware.
Chief Inspector of prisons Charlie Taylor says it's a 'risky' move - but believes the government had no choice.
