UN Security Council calls for a ceasefire intensify
immediate ceasefire in Gaza, with some countries insisting that the
council now needs to take a firmer stance to end the fighting.
The council convened another emergency meeting on Wednesday at the
request of Israel after the bodies of six hostages killed in Gaza were
recovered last weekend.

Harris calls Georgia school shooting a senseless tragedy
US Vice President Kamala Harris has described the shooting at a high school in Georgia in which 4 people were killed as "outrageous". A 14 year old boy is in custody after the incident at Apalachee High School.
