Bangladesh relaxes curfew, but security continues to remained heightened across the country

Bangladesh has begun relaxing a week-long curfew but security agencies warn it could be reimposed in the event of fresh clashes.

Local reports put the death toll from clashes between the police and protesting students at over 200.

Students were demanding a complete rollback of a jobs reservation scheme that reserved a third of all government posts for families of war veterans.

Biden's presidency.

They discussed the ceasefire deal with Hamas - which although proposed
weeks ago, has not been agreed upon.

And the release of dozens of hostages still being held by Hamas.

It all comes a day after Netanyahu's controversial address to Congress
- which saw thousands of protests on the streets outside the US
Capitol.
