Military-aged men in Ukraine who fail to update data with authorities will now face punishment

The 60-day window for military aged men in Ukraine to register their information with authorities expired this week. Now, those who have failed to do so may face a fine or be put on a wanted list. This is based on a law Ukraine passed earlier this year to ramp up mobilization and help replenish depleted troops.

EU responds to Orban’s letter and peace mission

A top European Union official criticized Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán for launching a Ukraine "peace mission" without EU backing. Japan completes 7th round of nuclear waste discharge

Japan has completed a seventh round of treated, nuclear water discharge from the crippled power plant at Fukushima.
