Washington prepares for NATO summit Tues-Thurs

NATO allies are pledging continued support for Ukraine to the tune of tens of billions of dollars, as leaders prepare to meet in Washington DC this week. 


They're also expanding cooperation with Australia, Japan, New Zealand and South Korea. 


But the alliance's 75th anniversary summit, starting on Tuesday in the US capital, comes at a politically fraught time, with Russian attacks on Kyiv and election uncertainty unfolding in several Western states.

NASA completes year-long Mars simulation

NASA is a step closer to sending the first astronauts to Mars after a crew completed a hefty simulation over the weekend.


Four volunteers spent a year inside a 3D printed habitat in the US state of Texas - the first Crew Health and Performance Exploration Analog mission came to an end on Saturday.

Boeing agrees deal over fatal 737 MAX crashes

US plane maker Boeing has agreed to plead guilty to criminal fraud in
relation to two crashes that killed almost 350 people in 2018 and
2019.

The deal would include a fine of up to $487 million.

Hungary Prime Minister arrives in Beijing for talks with Chinese President
