UK POSTAL SERVICE REJECTS ELECTION BALLOT DELAY FEARS

The UK’s post service has responded to accusations there’s a postal vote backlog ahead of the general election on Thursday.

While there’s concern amongst political party leaders, Royal Mail disputes there is any delay.  

It’s spokesperson says that all ballot packs are ‘delivered as soon as they arrive in their network’ and they are ‘confident all postal votes will be delivered prior to polling day’

Second Reform UK Candidate Defects Over Racism Scandal Days Before Election

A second candidate for the Reform UK party has quit over a growing racism scandal, just days before the UK's General Election. 


The right-wing party led by Nigel Farage had been challenging the Conservatives in some polls but is now rocked by scandals regarding members and candidates using racist language.

Inflation cools in Euro Zone

Inflation cooled across the Eurozone last month boosting hopes that

French opposition parties try to agree on blocking far-right path to power

French parties must decide today/on Tuesday if they are going to run candidates in the second round of the general election on July 7.

Victims Families "Dissatisfied" with Reported Boeing Plea Deal

Families of the victims from two major crashes involving Boeing aircraft are said to be unhappy with a plea agreement reportedly offered to the company in recent days.

Trump allies celebrate Supreme Court ruling

Allies of Donald Trump are celebrating his partial victory in the Supreme Court.

The Justices ruled 6-3 that Trump has limited immunity in the federal
election interference case for acts he took while he was President.

A lower court will now decide how to interpret the Justice's opinion,
which will further delay the trial on charges he tried to overturn the
2020 election result.

Hurricane Beryl hits Caribbean

Hurricane Beryl has smashed into the eastern edge of the Caribbean.

It is the strongest hurricane to pass through the region according to
data that goes all the way back to 1851.

The Category 4 hurricane brought winds of 240 kilometers an hour.

The storm made landfall initially on Carriacou [KER-E-KOO] Island on
Monday morning local time according to the National Hurricane Center.
