Trump ally Steve Bannon due to start prison sentence
Former senior aide to Donald Trump, Steve Bannon, is due to report to prison today (Monday) to begin serving a four month sentence for defying a congressional subpoena from the House committee investigating the January 6th 2021 attack on the US Capitol.
The sentence means the former Trump strategist could be incarcerated almost until the presidential election in November.
