Former US President Donald Trump has claimed President Joe Biden will drive the United States into a new world war if he's reelected to office.

In the first presidential debate of the campaign there was no audience, and microphones were muted when it wasn't that candidate's time to speak.

They took questions on issues including economic policy, immigration, abortion, and foreign affairs. It was on the latter topic where Trump took aim at his successor, saying Biden is driving America towards war.

Yen drops to historic year low against USD

Japan’s government is declining to comment on possible action to address a historic fall by the yen.

Donald Trump took full advantage of Joe Biden's stumbles during the first US presidential debate in Atlanta.

The debate was very different from the last time the pair met in 2020, when the moderator struggled to keep the men under control.

Both Democrats and Republicans are acknowledging it was a troublesome debate for the current President, who spoke with a hoarse voice, and often stumbled.

Former Uvalde school police chief indicted on child endangerment charges

Boeing sanctioned by NTSB for disclosing 737 Max 9 investigation details

Boeing is being sanctioned by the US agency looking into the mid-air door blowout on one of its 737 Max 9 planes, for revealing unauthorised details about the investigation.

Euroskeptic parties in Central Europe are looking to form EP faction.
