Indian man accused of plotting to kill Sikh leader in US extradited

An Indian man accused of plotting to kill a Sikh separatist leader on US soil has been extradited to New York, according to reports. 


Nikhil Gupta was allegedly working with the Indian government to have a prominent Sikh leader assassinated - an accusation he and India deny.

Trains collide in Darjeeling in India, rescue operations underway

A goods train has collided with a passenger train in Darjeeling in India.

Local media reports say that at least 15 people have been killed in the crash and several injured. Railways authorities say that the driver of the freight train ignored a signal.

China says one of its ships bumped by Philippine vessel in South China Sea

INTRO: Beijing's coast guard said a Philippine supply ship "dangerously approached" a Chinese ship resulting in a slight collision in the South China Sea, but no injuries or damage were reported.

US FAA investigating fake titanium used in new plane models


Both Airbus and Boeing may have made planes with counterfeit titanium in them, according to new information from a supplier which says it had found corrosion in some parts.

The US Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the long and short-term safety implications.

Aid deliveries from the US pier in Gaza remain suspended

Humanitarian aid deliveries via the US-built pier in Gaza remains

45 victims of fire in Kuwait flown back to India

An Indian Air Force plane is bringing back the remains of 45 Indian victims who were killed in a fire in a residential building in Kuwait.
