It's the latest European country to propose changes to military recruitment following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

KUWAITI ENGINEERS INSPECT MIGRANT WORKER ACCOMMODATION AFTER FIRE KILLS 49

Kuwaiti authorities are undertaking a mass inspection of residential apartment buildings after a fire killed 49 people on Wednesday.

Over 100 structures have been visited by officials on Thursday, with dozens of basement violations found.

Britain's opposition Labour Party is setting out its election manifesto, which it says is focused on economic growth.

Labour's promising a state-owned energy firm, hiring of more teachers, and ruling out 'surprises' on taxation.

The Conservatives claim Labour's spending pledges would require tax hikes.

Labour's National Campaign Coordinator, Pat McFadden, is dismissing suggestions there would have to be big public spending cuts if the party wins power on July 4th.

US central banks keeps interest rate unchanged and hits at just one future cut

The US Federal Reserve says it intends to bring down interest rates by the end of the year — but only once, quashing any expectations of much sharper cuts.

UN experts cites war crimes by Israel and Palestinian militants

United Nations Human Rights experts revealed on Wednesday that Israeli
forces and Palestinian militants engaged in sexual and gender-based
violence during the first months of the Israel-Hamas war.
